ESTHER, OBERT & GRACE – ZIMBABWE’S CHILDREN FUND

We’re delighted to say that thanks to the generosity of our viewers we have been able to transform the lives of Esther, Obert and Grace.  However we need your help to fulfil our promise to see them through to the end of their education.  If you have not already done so, please sign up to donate to the Zimbabwe’s Children fund regularly or make a one off donation - every penny counts!

 

EDUCATION PROJECT FUND

Or, if you would prefer to assist other children who are in a similar situation to those children in the film then please consider setting up a standing order to help a child get back into school through our Education Project.  All the children who were sent home from Obert’s school for non-payment of fees have been given the wonderful opportunity to now be a part of receiving a full education through our project.  It costs £30 per year to pay for one child’s school fees which is only £2.50 per month.  Please download a standing order form and give whatever you can to make a child’s dream become reality.  We hope to give as many children as possible education security for at least 5 years, so we are asking you to make a commitment if you possibly can.

OTHER ORGANISATIONS

If you would prefer to help this children of Zimbabwe through other charities then you can support SOS Children's Villages through their website.  They are successfully running child sponsorship programmes in Zimbabwe, and are looking after Esther and Tino.

Oxfam and Save the Children are also active in the country and helping many children like those featured in the film.  International charities like.  And HIV/AIDSl/ZIMBABWE (HAZ) is a grassroots initiative by Zimbabweans aimed at getting others to take on a more aggressive role in addressing the HIV/AIDS issues affecting Zimbabwe and fellow Zimbabweans.
